Came here during Xmas eve and ordered Full Rack of Baby Backs and they were delicious. Ordered with fries and collard greens as side dishes. The dish was huge and satisfying. The place is well decorated, spacious and without much ambient noise. We were able to hang out and have lots of fun. Definitely worth coming here in the future : )

I picked up take-out at Smokin' Al's BBQ today. My wife and I were bringing lunch to her Mom and brother-in-law as a special treat. We've been to Smokin' Al's several times over the past few years. Always very good BBQ and good service. My wife and I call Smokin' Al's the Dancing Pig Palace (yes, we're a bit weird that way). When you visit you'll see why - murals of pigs - yes, they're dancing - dressed in outfits from maybe the 1940's. Lots of exposed brick. Lots of neon over the "BBQ Pit." Sorry, I forgot to take out the camera. But, it's a nice looking BBQ Joint. Received a nice greeting upon my arrival and my order was taken at the bar. Four orders of Baby Back Ribs (half racks), one dry, three wet, with sides of Mac and Cheese, delicious Cole Slaw and Cornbread. The orders were carefully put together and packed by whom I figured was the Manager. They also gave me plenty of extra BBQ sauce. The food was yummy and the orders were 100% correct. The ribs were smokey and delicious. In my opinion, they've been better in the past (more moist and fall off the bone) but still very good. There wasn't much conversation at the table as everyone was chowing down. I love their Cole Slaw and it didn't disappoint. I like to top my Slaw with a little BBQ sauce but that's just me. The Mac and Cheese was good, but I've had better, more cheesy Mac and Cheese. Still good enough that I polished off a very generous portion. I just ate the Corn Bread as dessert back at my house. Very good. All in all a very good experience and Smokin' Al's (aka the Dancing Pig Palace) will remain our BBQ Joint of choice.

The BBQ is in the name, if that's what you want, that's what they do. Good value and great taste IMO.

Exquisite barbecue. The brisket was my favorite. However, the beef ribs were too tough to chew. Loved the all appetizers. I must add all the pigs everywhere. Absolutely awesome really cool. I wish I took more pictures of them, nice touch on decoration. Staff was friendly as well Very unique barbecue joint I suggest you try Superrrr

After a long day of golfing, Smokin' Al's was the perfect closure to an already great day. The ribs were so tender and moist not to mention the sauce was the boss. I ended up grabbing a bottle to go. The mac and cheese was pretty basic but the wings were gigantic and succulent. All in all this is a solid bbq spot on the island and I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

I came here with family for dinner and had a really nice time. They had a great special going on that we all took advantage of. I got the meatless BBQ with a side of mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. It also came with a piece of cornbread. I really enjoyed the meatless BBQ. It had great flavor to it. The mac and cheese was super tasty, and the fries were really good. They had cinnamon sugar on them, which I had never had served that way before. The portion was also more than generous, which was perfect, because I was able to let my family try my dinner, too. To top it all off, our waitress was fantastic. She was super attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This is a super far drive for us so we've gone here 2-3 times when we just want to go on a nice drive and get some BBQ food. The service is amazing and there's never been a crazy wait for food when I've gone. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. This is a nice spot for family dinners or just a night out with friends. The food is pretty good, but in my opinion pretty standard when it comes to bbq. I love the big portions which ensures you'll have leftovers to bring home. My favorite menu item has to be the garlic mashed potatoes! The drinks are tasty and not watered down. Def a good spot to try if you're in the area.
